About Us

After working for his father at Superior Custom Wheel for 7 years, Mike Stallings started out on his own by founding Wheel Vintiques Inc in 1986. He built up Wheel Vintiques Inc with his wife and two daughters, to a multi million dollar corporation selling steel, wire, and billet wheels worldwide before selling WVI to Coker Tire in 2011.

In 2005, Stallings purchased Circle Racing Wheels from long time racing wheels guru, Don Melbinger. Since then he has moved the company forward not only into all facets of asphalt and dirt racing, which include winged sprint cars and Sprint Cup NASCAR racing, but now includes full line ups of billet and cast wheels.

All of Circle Racing’s products are highly regarded by giants in the industry such as:  Summit Racing, Classic Industries, among others, and their mission is to continue to manufacture and supply the highest quality and the most competitive hot rod, street rod, muscle car, and racing wheels available in the industry.

An avid race fan, Stallings himself not only drove a Maxim sprint car in the King of the West Series, Chico Series, Civil War Series and Ocean Speedway Series from ’04 to ’09 but has been involved in NHRA circuit for years. He was the Clutch Engineer for top fuel dragster driver Dave Prominitz (’97-’98), Clutch Engineer for funny car driver Tim Wilkerson (’99-’00), Crew Chief for funny car driver Terry Haddock (’10-’11), and owned/sponsored a nostalgia fuel funny car driven by Brad Thompson (’12-’13).
